Interview with Laura Templeton from 30 Second Success
Posted on May 30, 2016
On today's podcast, I talk to Laura Templeton, CEO of 30 Second Success. Laura has watched many people struggle with their 30-second commercials also known as an elevator speech or pitch. She has met a number of people that won’t even consider networking as a way to increase their business connections because they are petrified of having to stand up and speak in front of an audience. If you are having a hard time with your pitch, Laura has a simple four part tip to make it better.
After years of watching people struggle with their 30-second commercials, Laura began offering help. Word got out that she was helping people communicate with confidence and clarity and the requests started pouring in. In April 2015 she officially launched 30 Second Success.
Laura has been helping people develop the message and the confidence to deliver a 30 second commercial that truly resonates with who they are and connects with their audience in person and in a video. With the launch of 30 Second Success and addressing the needs of her clients in the areas that having a fresh perspective brings to their written content she works with clients to develop and write commercials, improve professional biographies, and website content for continuity. Laura works with individual clients, offers group training and workshops, and is available for speaking engagements focused on developing and delivering 30-second commercials and other key elements of professional networking.
Laura is a wife and mother, writer, author, public speaker, professional networker, leader for Professional Women’s Business Network, volunteer, archery instructor, and believer in lifelong learning. Her mission is to help people define their purpose and find the words to express it to the world.
Your 30 second commercial should include a need, the solution, a call to action, and who your are.
